You Are What You Eat,
Think and Do
Let’s Do It All Better
From Pain to Purpose
My faith in Jesus has been a constant in my life. It carried me through years of beating up my body with unhealthy foods and a highly stressful corporate career. It helped me embrace the sudden passing of my brother, Bobby in 2010 And it awakened my passion for using food and healthy lifestyle practices to heal my body.
For nearly a decade I lived with an acute case of arthritis, intense menstrual pain, constipation, and insomnia. Never did I think any of it had to do with my diet and there didn’t seem to be a doctor on the planet who could help relieve any of my symptoms. No matter how many injections, epidurals, or facet blocks I got, nothing changed. So I just lived with it—always waking up in pain and accepting that was “just how it was.”
Meanwhile, I used my high-powered job as a welcome distraction and endlessly poured my energy into being the best in my firm—I proudly made President’s Club for nearly 20 years and accumulated various awards. My focus on business allowed me to ignore my body’s signals. And while it continued to tap at me that something wasn’t right, I continued to skip breakfast, drink Red Bulls, and pop Aleve to keep going.
It wasn’t until tragedy struck that I was forced to wake up. I got a call that my dear brother had just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I was shocked. This was a man who was impeccably healthy on paper—he exercised regularly, ate pretty well—it just didn’t make sense.
Within a few months, he was gone and I was left heartbroken and perplexed. How could this happen? What could my brother have done differently? Could he have prevented it? From that moment forward, I was on a mission to understand why disease happens and how lifestyle and eating habits play a role in its development.
So I threw out the processed foods for fresh, organic produce. I moved to Florida to be closer to loved ones. And I started researching everything I could—from factory farming to the effects of stress. Educating myself was the best decision I ever made.
As I shopped at local markets, cooked my own food, and ate with a new mindset about self-care, everything changed. The pain I had been living with for so many years started to lessen, my bowel movements became regular, and my energy skyrocketed.
What started as a curiosity about the cause of disease grew into a passion about how to create a better life. And I began to realize that this is what God wanted for me—to reconnect with the healing power of whole foods and experience my own transformation.
It wasn’t long before I knew that my purpose was to pass on my learning to others. I started with friends and family—helping my nephew lose 40 pounds in 2 months. And I went on to get my health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, graduating in 2016.
Today, I want to revolutionize the way people eat, move, and live with faith at the core. I want you to experience the same relief I did. I want you to know true energy. I want you to access a deep love for your body and yourself.
This is where that happens.
God put fresh vegetables like kale, free roaming animals like cattle, and wild sea creatures like salmon on this fine planet of ours. Not Doritos. Not Quarter pounders. Not Coca-Cola.
He created those living things to nourish us with every single vitamin, mineral, and nutrient we’d ever need to thrive. He gave us all five senses to experience the taste, texture, and scent completely without distraction. And he provided our bodies with signals to indicate what to eat and when we’re full.
While he gave us everything we needed to be well, we lost contact with our instincts. We got pulled into the temptations of overindulgence with sweet treats, processed food-like substances, and inhumanely raised wild life. We started leaning on food for happiness, fulfillment, and the management of our emotions. And we began disrespecting and even hating our bodies in the process.
Now is the time to change that for good. If you find yourself in a cycle of making unhealthy choices or simply feel confused about how to approach eating in general, I’m here to help.
This is where I teach God’s original health principles—the basics to feeling confident in what your body, mind, and spirit needs to be fully nourished every day. Confusion free. Calorie-count free. Deprivation free.
I’m on a mission to show you how to shift your approach to choosing, cooking, and eating food so that you become the master of your health and your life—all with God’s message guiding you along the way.
Let’s work together.
