Yummy Homemade Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp. Unsweetened cacao powder
  • 3 cups coconut milk (or other favorite milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp. Ground cinnamon
  • 2-3 tsp. Sugar to taste (I use coconut sugar or stevia)
  • ¼ tsp. Sea salt
  • Optional: Whipped Cream (I use Coconut Milk Whipped Cream in the Freezer Section), Cacao nibs, orange zest
Instructions
  1. Bring milk, cacao powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, sugar and salt to simmer in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Make sure it doesn’t scorch. Whisk until mixture is smooth and creamy and the chocolate and sugar have dissolved.
  2. Divide into 4 Mugs
  3. Add optional toppings and enjoy!
